Steven meets Uncle Grandpa while trying to unlock the power of his mother's gem. Hilarity and weirdness ensues. I don't understand why people hate this episode so much. Personally I thought this was one of the funniest episodes in Steven Universe history. The story is that Steven needs help with his powers, and Uncle Grandpa comes to help Steven. It is a bit odd that the first crossover would be with Uncle Grandpa, but Uncle Grandpa is an okay show. Pearl is hilarious in this episode. The jokes are mostly great, and the interactions are fun. The music in this episode is upbeat, catchy. Overall I give this episode an 8/10. It's sad that so many people hate this episode, because it is funny, but then again it is my opinion. So that was my review of Say Uncle. This was my first review. Its a good and enjoyable episode. Let's talk about the flaws, first. The episode just feels really short and feels like it doesn't have much going on. While it's not Steven Universe at its worst, there's flaws to it, like any episode of a good show. Here's the story: Steven is having trouble summoning his shield, and Uncle Grandpa comes to his universe. I'll admit, I've heard stupider plots for crossovers. Then, they flat out state that the episode is non-canon. Then, Uncle Grandpa proceeds to sink Sadie and Lars' ship. Then the Gems go crazy and try to pretty much murder Uncle Grandpa. I can say everything wrong with that. The Gems fight for those different from them, and to see them attack somebody different from them is very hypocritical. There's some pretty funny parts about this episode, like Pearl going crazy about everything around her, the fourth-wall breaks and the ending with the checklist of all the famous Cartoon Network characters.
